We have state-of-the-art infrastructure necessary for bone marrow transplantation that include
18 bedded HEPA filtered transplant unit, 24 hour regional blood bank, 3 state of the art apheresis machines (COBE Spectra and Fresinius Kabil), facility to irradiate blood products and deep freezers to store cryopreserved stem cells.
Achievements
We have done more than 300 Bone marrow transplantation so far for various conditions like Acute myeloid leukaemia, Acute Lymphoblastic leukaemia, Relapsed lymphoma, Multiple myeloma and Aplastic anaemia
Haploidentical (Half matched) bone marrow transplantation is a complicated procedure and we are the first in southern Tamil Nadu to do such procedures.
We are the first to perform Allogenic haematopoietic stem cell transplants in southern Tamil Nadu.
