We have round the clock service for stroke. THIS WAS ORIGINAL IDEA brought out by us. done to diagnose ICH and Acute ischemic stroke. Any suspected case for stroke undergoes stroke protocol imaging. Along with CT scan, MRI diffussion is<\/p><p>Patient with stroke in window and select out of window patients with diffusion flair mismatch. Patient is immediately thrombolysed with Inj. Alteplase or Tenectaplase. If the patient has large vessel occlusion, patient undergoes Mechanical thrombectomy &#8211; either thrombosuction or stent retriver. We are the leading centre for IV thrombolysis and Mechanical Thrombectomy in south India.<\/p><p>We also have a neurorehabilititation ward where the stroke patient and patient&#8217;s attendees have good team support of highly trained physiotherapists, staff nurses and various physiotherapy equipments and dedicated plans for therapy. Importance is given for gait, power improvement. We also provide occupational therapy, where the patient gets the latest techniques of hand movement exercises.<\/p><p>For the prevention of stroke, we also conduct regular stroke awareness programmes. For this we reach out to the public with well known personalities and discuss in detail about the various preventive strategies like diet modification, exercises and latest treatment available in our hospital.
